Shabby White Cottage by Oblonski

My friend, mentor and the person who inspired me to start creating stuff in Second Life, Yolanda Hirvi, has built a new house. Shabby White Cottage from Oblonski is beautifully built and textured spacious home for small or slightly bigger family or just someone single who needs the room. If you know Oblonski, you know it's the home of antiques built and textured with care.

Rico by - abode -

Aya Liotta from - abode - has created a new home called Rico. The house consists of 252 prims and has 2 bedrooms and a kitchen (or extra bedroom). Because Rico is so very detailed and beautiful I decided to let the pictures do the most talking. See all the pics after the jump.

Changes

Lately I've felt I should make some changes. The sales of my store have been low (even worse than usual) and there was an incident considering the name of the store. Because I don't want to be mixed with an unpleasant person I decided it is time to change the name and do some rebranding. In order to create some room for new items (such as the skins I've been making) I'm working on getting a bigger store with more prims. To help my rebranding efforts I'm creating a little garden to my home. Plan is to use it as a background for new ads.

Barrel of Poses

My friend and Starlustian neighbor Bella has released a new funky pose set. It's called Barrel of Poses and it's made of 7 prims (version without the flowers is 2 prims). It features 8 poses and one can adjust the positions and rotation of the poses.

To show you how cute the barrel is I put on something very simple. I still think the argyle socks from Pig are so very cute, so again I based my simple, summer inspired outfit on them.

Sneaking around

My home in Second Life is a bit like this site: Under construction. Right now there's only some trees, grass, a table and a rocking chair with big rocks and moss. That's about it. Earlier I tried to make it a general type of a home: With a house and garden. But it just wasn't for me.

Now my plan is to turn the place into some sort of a piece of art. Something that would show who I am and where I come from. Something that might work as a showcase for building projects. Recently I've been busy with my store or with all sorts of thing in real life, so the plan is still just a plan. And I've just been sneaking around.
