Chilly

These days Second Life is full of different sorts of shopping events. One of the most interesting shopping events is Stumblebum Brigade. Yes, I do take part on the event myself. But the actual thing why I really find this event so interesting is because all the participating stores are supposed to release an exclusive item which is available only through their turn on the event. And there are lots of handpicked quality stores taking part the stumbling.

Artemis is a n00b

July 7 is my official rezday. That's the day I created Bastet thinking I would just do the thing I'm supposed to for a course in my university and then I wouldn't ever log in again. Yes, that's what I thought. The first appearance of Bastet was... Well not pretty. Someone in one of those help islands threw me a pack of stuff to make my avatar look a bit less like a n00b, though now I'm pretty sure it just got worse. A couple of days ago the Newbie Style Challenge started to create some fuzz on plurk. I wanted to give it a try and Artemis was born.

The rock and the roll

Last night I went for a little shopping spree. It all started when I wandered to KENZIE&CO and found myself a cute skirt. Then I needed a top for the skirt and went to look for one. In Thimbles I didn't find the top, but instead I found this adorably edgy one-piece. Last stop I wandered was Kyoot and the last moments of their annual sale. There I found lots of stuff (I will most likely blog the rest later), including the top to wear with the skirt.

Dark

Yesterday the talented and supercute Anya Ohmai posted these fabulous pictures on her Flickr Lookbook. Her style is something that I cannot compete with (nor I would even try) and I was blown away by the beautiful hair from booN.

I wanted that hair and I wanted it bad.So bad I left to hunt for it without even having time to put some shoes on. When I arrived the store I soon realized I was going to be broke. After trying some other awesome hairdos I took off with this pointy piece of art.

School's almost out

It's most certainly summer. Even if it's not as warm as it was last week, the summer is here. And schools are almost out for summer. Just the last couple of days and then all the kids are roaming everywhere. In a couple of days my RL alt is graduating from Metropolia University of Applied Sciences as Bachelor of Media or something like that. She's going on and on about it.

This outfit is a little homage to all the years of studying (and avoiding studying). It was mostly inspired by the new awesome socks from Pig. The awesome poses are from don't freak out! and they are available as a Stumblebum Brigade exclusive pack available only until this Friday. This is also a little sneak peak to the new line of skins I've been working on.
